NOC Specialist

About the role

This is an excellent opportunity supporting one of the most exciting projects in the telecoms industry. You will be the first point of contact for technical support for our customers, working to find a resolution for any faults or outages.

Key responsibilities

• Actively support the installations team in FTTP deployments.
• Troubleshoot end‑user faults and identify issues.
• Engage relevant teams to resolve identified faults.
• Proactively manage critical alarms and large‑scale outages.
• Own and manage incident and fault tickets within defined SLAs.
• Assist other teams to ensure customer fault resolution via phone.
• Handle order management and support NOC projects.
• Provide training, mentoring and knowledge sharing for junior colleagues.
• Act as an escalation point for complex technical faults.

Required profile

• Significant experience within a Hyperfast NOC environment.
• Broad knowledge of alarms and RSP faults.
• Proven experience managing escalations for large‑scale outages.
• Background in training and mentoring staff.
• Strong understanding of network protocols and principles (IPv4, IPv6, VLANs).
• Customer‑centric approach with solid GPON knowledge.
• Service desk experience with ticket management capability.
• CCNA or JNCIA certification desirable.
