About the role

Handle your own caseload of predominantly litigated Noise Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL) claims within a supportive team environment. Manage and progress claims using appropriate strategies to achieve desired outcomes for clients while maintaining profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Reviewing documents and preparing reports
• Dealing with disclosure
• Reviewing evidence, including medical and personnel records
• Conducting investigations with insured parties and obtaining witness statements
• Instructing counsel and experts
• Researching case law and relevant material
• Drafting correspondence and legal documents
• Attending conferences and trials with counsel
• Handling routine correspondence
• Attending court appointments
• Liaising with and taking instructions from insurers and insureds
• Ensuring adherence to court timetables
• Ensuring compliance with SRA Standards & Regulations
• Adhering to the Keoghs Values

Required profile

• Experience handling Noise Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL) claims
• Ability to manage a caseload of litigated claims
