Non-Marine Insurance Technician

About the role

The Insurance Technician will join a Lloyd's broking house in London, supporting the Non‑Marine technical team. You will handle premium, claim and bordereau processing while maintaining the broker's systems and liaising with underwriters, clients and third‑party providers.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process premiums, claims, bordereaux, treaty statements and related documentation.
• Maintain the broking system and ensure accurate data entry.
• Communicate with underwriters, cover‑holders, direct clients and Xchanging.
• Process BDX files, debit/credit notes via Novus, and submit LPANS.
• Handle credit control, send statements to clients and manage incoming insurer statements.

Required profile

• Previous experience in technical operations within a broker, insurer or third‑party such as Xchanging.
• Familiarity with Lloyd's/London market processes and documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work within a fast‑paced team.
