Non-Medical Prescriber – Nurse or Pharmacist

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Non‑Medical Prescriber, either a Nurse or a Pharmacist, to join a hospital pharmacy team in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for prescribing medications within the scope of non‑medical prescribing regulations, ensuring safe and effective patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patients and prescribe appropriate medications in accordance with clinical guidelines.
• Provide medication counselling and clinical advice to patients and healthcare professionals.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise therapeutic outcomes.
• Maintain accurate prescribing records and adhere to regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse or Pharmacist with a valid non‑medical prescribing qualification.
• Current registration with the appropriate professional body (NMC or GPhC).
• Experience working in a hospital or pharmacy setting is desirable.

Required skills

• Authority to prescribe medications as a non‑medical prescriber.
