North American Property Wordings Technician

About the role

Join an independent Lloyd's broker in the City of London as a Policy Wording Technician supporting North American markets. You will be responsible for creating and managing property wordings, contracts and submissions with a strong focus on legal and contractual accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Draft property wordings, contracts and market submissions for North American clients.
• Submit contracts to reinsurers and ensure compliance with US and North American regulations.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth business operations.
• Produce bespoke reinsurance contracts and monitor adherence to internal and external guidelines.
• Advise broking teams, attend client meetings and address contract‑related queries.
• Participate in training sessions and chair the annual legal workshop for the international wording team.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Policy Wording Technician.
• Specific experience drafting policy wordings for North American markets.
• Familiarity with North American insurance terminology and regulatory requirements.
