Nursery Assistant – Early Years Support

About the role

We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join a well‑established early years setting in Warrington. You will work alongside the Nursery Manager and Early Years team to create a safe, stimulating environment for children aged 0‑5.

Key responsibilities

• Support children’s learning, play and daily routines in line with the EYFS framework.
• Assist with personal care, meals and outdoor activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming nursery environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents, carers and colleagues.

Required profile

• Recent experience in a nursery, early years or similar childcare setting.
• Good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Patient, nurturing and passionate about child development.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) on the Update Service.
