Nursery Assistant – Early Years Worker (Southport)

About the role
Join a friendly, established early years setting in Southport as a Nursery Assistant. You will work alongside a dedicated team to provide high‑quality care and early education for young children, creating a safe and stimulating environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with daily setup of creative play and age‑appropriate learning activities.
- Support children’s routine care, meals and emotional well‑being.
- Encourage positive social interaction and track progress using basic early framework goals.
- Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming nursery environment.
Required profile
- Prior experience as a nursery assistant, childcare helper or support worker with young children.
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (preferred but not essential).
- Approachable, energetic and highly patient personality.
