About the role
Academics is recruiting caring and reliable Nursery Assistants to support a range of nursery settings across Cheltenham on a flexible supply basis. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with young children and need flexible hours that fit around their lifestyle.
Key responsibilities
- Support daily nursery routines and activities.
- Encourage children through play‑based learning.
- Create a safe, nurturing and welcoming environment.
- Assist with children’s early years development and well‑being.
Required profile
- Genuine passion for working with children.
- Childcare qualification (Level 2 or above desirable but not essential).
- Previous nursery or childcare experience preferred.
- Positive, reliable and enthusiastic attitude.
- Willingness to complete an Enhanced DBS check.
