Nursery Assistant – Flexible Shifts in Chester

About the role
Randstad Education is seeking enthusiastic Nursery Assistants to join early years settings across Chester and Cheshire West. You will work alongside room leaders to create a safe, stimulating environment where young children can thrive and reach key developmental milestones.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with room leaders to design and set up engaging, playful learning activities.
- Support children individually or in small groups, fostering their early learning journey.
- Apply EYFS curriculum knowledge to guide daily routines safely.
- Supervise and encourage children during meals, snack times and outdoor play.
Required profile
- Previous experience in an early years or education setting.
- Understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification preferred.
Required skills
- Knowledge of the EYFS framework.
