Nursery Assistant – Full‑time (Croydon)

About the role

We are seeking a caring Nursery Assistant to join our Croydon nursery team. You will work alongside qualified staff to create a safe, stimulating environment where babies and young children can thrive.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with personal care for infants and toddlers.
• Support age‑appropriate play and learning activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic setting.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and parents/carers.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety procedures at all times.
• Participate in team meetings and nursery events as required.

Required profile

• Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare/EYFS.
• Genuine passion for working with babies and young children.
• Reliable, caring and able to work as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and develop early years care skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing situations.
