Nursery Assistant – Full‑time Early Years Role

About the role
We are seeking a caring Nursery Assistant to join our Croydon nursery on a full‑time, permanent basis. You will work alongside qualified staff to provide a safe, stimulating environment for babies and young children, supporting their daily care and early learning.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with personal care tasks for babies and children.
- Support age‑appropriate play and learning activities.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic nursery environment.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents, and carers.
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety procedures at all times.
- Participate in team meetings and nursery events as required.
Required profile
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/EYFS.
- Genuine passion for working with babies and young children.
- Reliable, caring and able to work well within a team.
- Willingness to learn and develop early years care skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing situations.
