Nursery Assistant (Level 3) – Full‑time Permanent Role

About the role

Prospero Teaching is seeking a Level 3 Nursery Assistant to join a thriving private nursery in West London. The role is full‑time, permanent and offers the chance to work with children during term‑time, supporting their early learning and development.

Key responsibilities

• Assist qualified early years practitioners in delivering a safe, stimulating environment for children.
• Support daily routines including meals, play, and educational activities.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, observations and safeguarding checks.
• Ensure the nursery complies with health, safety and safeguarding policies.
• Communicate effectively with parents and team members.

Required profile

• Level 3 Early Years qualification.
• Minimum one year of nursery experience in the UK.
• Current safeguarding training (within the last year).
• Right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS certificate with online update service or willingness to obtain one.
• Two professional child‑related references covering the last two years.

Required skills

• Knowledge of early years curriculum and best practice.
• Understanding of safeguarding procedures.
• Ability to follow health and safety guidelines.
