Nursery Assistant – Part‑Time & Flexible Hours

About the role

We are looking for a friendly Nursery Assistant to join a welcoming early years setting in Leeds. The role offers part‑time, flexible hours so you can fit work around your lifestyle while supporting young children’s learning and development.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging play‑based activities that stimulate curiosity and learning.
• Help children build confidence, independence and social skills.
• Maintain a safe, clean and positive environment in line with EYFS standards.
• Build strong, supportive relationships with children, families and the nursery team.
• Support individual learning plans and monitor progress.
• Follow safeguarding policies and record keeping procedures.

Required profile

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (preferred).
• Previous experience in a nursery or childcare setting.
• Caring, reliable and enthusiastic attitude.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Genuine passion for working with young children.
