Nursery Assistant – Part‑time (Tunbridge Wells)

About the role

We are looking for qualified Nursery Assistants to join our client’s team in Tunbridge Wells. You will help create a safe, clean and happy environment for children across three early‑years age groups, supporting daily activities and meals.

Key responsibilities

• Assist nursery staff in maintaining a safe and tidy setting.
• Engage with children in age‑appropriate activities and play.
• Support meal and snack times, ensuring hygiene standards.
• Provide lunch‑cover or afternoon coverage as required.

Required profile

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in childcare.
• Valid right‑to‑work documents (passport, DBS on the update service).
• Paediatric First Aid certification.
• Minimum age of 18 and at least five years of current references.
• Local to Tunbridge Wells or able to travel.
• Understanding of the EYFS curriculum and safeguarding procedures.

What we offer
