Nursery Assistant – Permanent (Level 3 qualified)

About the role

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Nursery Assistant to join a thriving early years setting in West London. The role is full‑time, permanent and operates during term time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am‑5:00 pm.

Key responsibilities

• Support the delivery of high‑quality early years activities for children in the nursery.
• Assist the lead practitioner with planning, preparing and implementing daily routines.
• Maintain a safe, clean and stimulating environment in line with safeguarding policies.
• Record observations and communicate children’s progress to parents and staff.
• Participate in team meetings and continuous professional development sessions.

Required profile

• Level 3 Early Years qualification.
• Minimum one year of nursery experience in the UK.
• Current safeguarding training (issued within the last year).
• Right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS certificate with online update service or willingness to obtain one.
• Two professional child‑related references covering the last two years.
