About the role
We are partnering with a well‑established nursery in Canterbury to find a caring Nursery Assistant to join the team from September. This full‑time position offers a supportive environment where you will help young children thrive during a crucial stage of their development.
Key responsibilities
- Support children with learning activities, play‑based sessions and daily routines.
- Create and maintain a safe, fun and nurturing classroom atmosphere.
- Assist with personal care, meals and hygiene as needed.
- Collaborate closely with teachers and other staff to deliver consistent care.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a nursery, early years or childcare setting.
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (desirable).
- Genuine passion for working with young children.
- Patient, caring and enthusiastic attitude.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
