Nursery Assistant (Supply) – Leeds

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic Nursery Assistants to join our supply team in Leeds. This flexible, temporary position allows you to work across a range of early years settings while balancing other commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Assist qualified staff in delivering daily activities that support the EYFS curriculum.
• Help children with personal care, meals, and outdoor play.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for young learners.
• Support record‑keeping and communication with parents as required.

Required profile

• Recent, practical experience in a UK nursery, pre‑school or early years setting.
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
• Warm, patient, and energetic approach to working with young children.
• Valid enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one through Randstad).

Required skills

• Knowledge of EYFS principles and child‑led learning.
• Ability to follow safeguarding policies and maintain confidentiality.
