Nursery Assistant – Temporary, Leeds

About the role

Reed Early Years is looking for enthusiastic Nursery Assistants to join temporary placements across Leeds. You will support early‑years settings by delivering high‑quality, play‑based care that helps children thrive.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily routines and transitions within the nursery environment.
• Deliver care and learning through child‑centred, play‑based activities.
• Encourage children’s development by creating meaningful play experiences.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming, and nurturing setting for all children.
• Work in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), safeguarding and health & safety standards.

Required profile

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent experience).
• Previous experience in a nursery or early‑years setting.
• Professional, reliable and caring approach.
• DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply.
