Nursery Bank Staff – Flexible Early Years Role in Brighton

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic early years practitioners to join our nursery bank staff in Brighton, Hove & Portslade. This flexible, temporary role allows you to work across a variety of settings, supporting children from 3 months to 5 years while fitting around your personal commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Support nursery staff in daily activities, including setting up and tidying rooms.
• Engage with children through play and learning activities.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment at all times.
• Assist with routine tasks as required by each setting.

Required profile

• Level 2 or Level 3 early years qualification, or recent relevant experience as a nursery assistant.
• Reliable, adaptable and enthusiastic attitude.
• Hands‑on approach and willingness to help wherever needed.

Required skills

• Experience working with children aged 3 months to 5 years.
