Nursery Manager – Early Years Leadership

About the role

Our client provides an outstanding early years educational experience for children from birth to pre‑school. They are seeking a Nursery Manager to lead a vibrant, safe and stimulating environment in Bristol.

Key responsibilities

• Create a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment that promotes children’s learning.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations of the nursery, delivering high standards of care and education in partnership with staff, parents and children.
• Meet commercial and people objectives, ensuring the nursery runs efficiently and profitably.
• Lead and develop the nursery team, handling conflict resolution and monitoring performance.
• Uphold minimum operating standards and champion diversity.
• Inspire and challenge colleagues to deliver the best childcare and education.

Required profile

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years.
• At least two years experience in early years settings.
• Early years management experience preferred.
• ICT qualification preferred or strong knowledge of Microsoft applications.
• Excellent knowledge of the EYFS and Ofsted Early Education inspection framework.

• Microsoft applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
