Nursery Manager – Early Years Leadership Role

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Nursery Manager to lead one of our Kindred Nurseries in London. In this permanent, full‑time position you will be responsible for delivering high‑quality early years education and creating a supportive environment for both children and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Deputy Manager, Third in Charge and Room Leaders to maintain high standards of care and education.
• Ensure the nursery environment is safe, organised and stimulating.
• Maintain accurate records and uphold all procedural and regulatory requirements.
• Promote the nursery as the preferred choice for families and staff.
• Model best practice, monitor compliance with regulatory guidelines and prepare for audits and inspections.
• Oversee budgeting, KPIs and operational efficiency.
• Drive safeguarding initiatives and support the team through inductions, mentoring and ongoing development.

Required profile

• Proven experience in early years settings with a track record of leadership.
• Strong understanding of Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) standards and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to inspire and develop a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent organisational and record‑keeping skills.
• Commitment to delivering outstanding childcare and education.
