Nursery Manager – Godalming (Full‑time/Part‑time)

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Nursery Manager to lead our brand‑new childcare centre, The Crèche, in the heart of Godalming. The role can be taken on a full‑time (25‑40 hrs/week) or part‑time (25‑30 hrs/week) basis, offering the chance to shape the service from its inception and build a thriving early years environment.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard and inspire a high‑performing nursery team.
• Develop and embed a positive culture aligned with our flexible, pay‑as‑you‑go model.
• Ensure daily operations run smoothly, meeting EYFS standards and Ofsted expectations.
• Maintain health, safety and safeguarding procedures.
• Build strong relationships with families and local community partners.
• Oversee budgeting, staffing rotas and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Level 3 Early Years qualification (or higher) with thorough EYFS knowledge.
• Proven experience managing across the Early Years Foundation Stage.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding, health and safety regulations.
• Positive, can‑do attitude and ability to motivate a team.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality care and education for every child.
