About the role

Join Childbase Partnership as a Nursery Manager at Maples Day Nursery in Winchester. You will lead a vibrant early years setting with 124 places, ensuring high-quality care and education for children while supporting a dedicated team.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with EYFS standards and Ofsted requirements.
• Manage staff scheduling, performance, and professional development.
• Maintain health, safety, and safeguarding procedures.
• Monitor and improve pupil outcomes and learning experiences.
• Handle budgeting, resource allocation, and parent communications.

Required profile

• DfE‑approved early years qualification at Level 3 or above.
• Recent experience managing a large early years setting.
• Strong leadership and team‑building abilities.
• Excellent understanding of the EYFS framework.
