Nursery Manager

About the role

Our client provides an outstanding early years experience for children from birth to pre‑school, focusing on each child's unique needs in a safe and stimulating environment. As Nursery Manager you will lead the daily operations, ensuring high standards of care, education and commercial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Create a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment that promotes children’s learning.
• Manage the day‑to‑day running of the nursery, delivering outstanding standards of care and education in partnership with colleagues, parents and children.
• Meet nursery objectives and targets with a commercial and people focus, ensuring efficiency and profitability.
• Lead the nursery team with a positive outlook, handling conflict resolution and fostering professional development.
• Maintain minimum operating standards and inspire colleagues to deliver the best childcare and education.

Required profile

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years.
• At least two years of early years experience.
• Early years management experience preferred.
• ICT qualification or very good knowledge of Microsoft applications.
• Excellent knowledge of the EYFS and Ofsted Early Education inspection framework.
