Nursery Manager – Part‑time (Finchley, N3)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Nursery Manager to lead a small, term‑time nursery in Finchley, operating Monday to Friday from 9 am to 3 pm. This permanent part‑time position offers the chance to shape high‑quality early years provision and ensure compliance with statutory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day management of the nursery and maintain Ofsted standards.
• Ensure full compliance with EYFS, safeguarding and health & safety regulations.
• Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment for children.
• Lead, inspire and support the nursery team, fostering professional development.
• Build positive relationships with parents, carers and external agencies.

Required profile

• Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification.
• At least 2 years proven experience as a Nursery Manager or Deputy Manager.
• Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding and Ofsted frameworks.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational abilities.
• Passionate about early childhood development and high‑quality care.
