About the role
Prospero Teaching is recruiting a Nursery Nurse (Assistant) for an Ofsted "Good" primary school in West London. This full‑time temporary position runs from September 2026 to July 2027, offering hands‑on experience in a supportive, four‑form entry environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support the delivery of the Early Years curriculum for children aged 3‑5.
- Maintain a safe, nurturing classroom environment in line with safeguarding policies.
- Assist the senior nursery staff with daily routines, record‑keeping and parent communication.
- Participate in school‑wide training and professional development sessions.
Required profile
- Level 3 Early Years qualification.
- Minimum of one year UK nursery experience.
- Current safeguarding training (issued within the last year).
- Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Two professional child‑related references covering the last two years.
Required skills
- Safeguarding awareness.
