Nursery Nurse / Assistant – South East London

About the role
Join a leading early years specialist to support children in South East London. The position is open to qualified Nursery Nurses, Nursery Practitioners, and unqualified Nursery Assistants who enjoy creating a safe, stimulating environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist children with play, learning activities and daily routines.
- Provide general care, including feeding, toileting and health monitoring.
- Support the lead practitioner in planning and delivering age‑appropriate activities.
- Maintain a clean and safe classroom environment.
Required profile
- Ability to commute to South East London locations.
- Willingness to work at least one day per week from 8 am or 9 am to 5 pm or 6 pm.
- Checkable references.
Required skills
- Basic understanding of early years curriculum.
- Effective communication with children and adults.
What we offer
- Full‑time, part‑time or temporary hours, Monday‑Friday.
- Hourly rate between £10.85 and £14, paid weekly.
- Holiday pay accrued on top of the hourly rate.
- Potential pathway to a permanent position.
