About the role

We are looking for a qualified Nursery Nurse to join a primary school nursery in Leeds. The role involves planning and delivering age‑appropriate educational activities that support each child’s holistic development in a safe and nurturing environment.

Key responsibilities

Provide care and education to young children in a school setting.
Design and deliver educational activities tailored to individual needs and interests.
Observe, monitor and report children’s progress to parents and staff.
Maintain a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment.
Keep comprehensive records of children’s development.
Undertake additional duties as directed by the school principal or staff.

Required profile

Recognised Early Childhood Education qualification.
Extensive experience in a nursery or childcare setting.
Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
Team‑oriented with the ability to work independently.
Familiarity with school policies and procedures (a plus).
