Nursery Nurse – Early Years Educator (Level 3 Qualified)

About the role

We are seeking a passionate, Level 3 qualified Early Years Educator to join our welcoming primary school in Bexley on a full‑time, term‑time basis. You will work within the Nursery or Reception provision, helping to create a safe, inspiring environment where young children can thrive.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver play‑based learning in line with the EYFS framework.
• Lead small‑group activities and support early phonics and language development.
• Observe, assess and record children’s progress.
• Contribute to a stimulating indoor and outdoor learning environment.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to plan engaging activities.

Required profile

• Level 3 Early Years qualification.
• Good knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development.
• Experience in an Early Years setting.
• Caring, enthusiastic and proactive attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Understanding of EYFS standards.
• Ability to plan and deliver age‑appropriate activities.
• Observation and assessment of child progress.
