Nursery Nurse / Early Years Professional

About the role
This full‑time contractor position is for a qualified Nursery Nurse or Early Years Professional to join a modern Jewish primary school in the Edgware area of Barnet. You will work Monday to Friday, 8:00 am‑4:00 pm, supporting the school’s early years provision throughout the academic year.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality early years education in line with the EYFS framework.
- Plan and implement age‑appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Collaborate with the teaching team to ensure a smooth transition between nursery and reception.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment for all children.
Required profile
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (Nursery Nurse/Early Years Professional).
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
- Team‑player who can follow direction and use initiative.
- Enthusiastic, caring and committed to excellent early years provision.
Required skills
What we offer
- Daily rate of £115‑£120, dependent on experience.
- Paid full‑day rate even when the school closes at lunchtime on Fridays (October half‑term to summer term).
