Nursery Nurse

About the role

Reeson Education is looking for a passionate Nursery Nurse to join its network of nurseries in Southwark. The role offers flexible working options, including full‑time, part‑time or ad‑hoc daily supply, allowing you to balance professional development with personal commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Support children’s learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Plan and deliver engaging, hands‑on activities that promote curiosity and social interaction.
• Observe, assess and record each child’s progress, providing constructive feedback to parents and the team.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for all children.

Required profile

• Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification (essential).
• Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
• Strong understanding of EYFS and early years development.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of EYFS standards.
• Ability to plan and execute age‑appropriate activities.
• Proficiency in observing and documenting child development.
