About the role

Zero2Five is seeking a dedicated Nursery Nurse to join its early years setting in Leeds. This term‑time only position offers a genuine work‑life balance, allowing you to enjoy school holidays while delivering high‑quality care and education to children aged 0‑5 years.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality care and education for children aged 0–5 years.
• Support children’s learning through engaging, play‑based activities.
• Act as a Key Person, monitoring and celebrating each child’s development.
• Create safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environments.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Promote safeguarding, health, and wellbeing at all times.
• Contribute to planning, observations, and the day‑to‑day running of the nursery.

Required profile

• Level 3 Nursery Practitioner qualification or equivalent early years credential.
• Experience working with children aged 0–5 years.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child protection policies.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Enthusiasm for play‑based learning and inclusive practice.
