Nursery Practitioner – Flexible Hours in Islington

About the role

We are seeking qualified Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioners to join a warm, supportive early years setting in Islington. The role offers flexible, ad‑hoc shifts so you can choose when you work while delivering high‑quality care for children aged 0‑4 years.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality care and support for children aged 0‑4 years.
• Encourage development through engaging play and learning activities.
• Support individual needs, interests and developmental milestones.
• Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive nursery environment.
• Assist with daily routines such as feeding, personal care and sleep.
• Collaborate with the nursery team to deliver excellent early years practice.

Required profile

• Recognised CACHE Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification (essential).
• Previous experience in an early years or nursery setting.
• Caring, patient and enthusiastic approach.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships.
• Genuine passion for supporting young children’s growth and development.
