Nursery Practitioner – Flexible Work in Brighton

About the role
We are looking for enthusiastic Nursery Practitioners to support children aged 0‑4 in Brighton nurseries. You will work alongside permanent staff to foster learning, development and a safe, nurturing environment.
Key responsibilities
- Engage children in messy play, arts and crafts, singing, storytelling and role‑play.
- Support structured learning activities and educational routines.
- Supervise outdoor play and garden time.
- Assist with feeding and toileting when required.
- Help maintain a safe, clean and nurturing environment.
Required profile
- Minimum of 3 months professional childcare experience (qualified or unqualified).
- Childcare qualification or willingness to obtain one.
- Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain.
- Reliable, flexible and professional approach.
- Genuine passion for working with young children.
Required skills
What we offer
- Complete flexibility – choose the days you work.
- Working hours between 08:00 am and 06:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
- Competitive hourly rates (£10.90‑£14.00).
