Nursery Practitioner Level 2 – Early Years Educator

About the role
Busy Bees is seeking a Level 2 Nursery Practitioner to join its Outstanding-rated nursery in Chelmsford. You will play a leading role in fostering the intellectual, social and emotional development of children, delivering the Bee Curious curriculum and creating engaging learning environments.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age‑appropriate activities that support children’s development.
- Implement the Bee Curious curriculum to encourage curiosity and confidence.
- Organise and supervise regular outings to local parks and the duck pond.
- Maintain a safe, clean and stimulating nursery environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues and communicate effectively with parents.
Required profile
- Level 2 Nursery Practitioner qualification (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent).
- Passion for early years education and child development.
- Ability to work within a team‑oriented, supportive environment.
