Nursery Practitioner – Preston

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join a welcoming early years setting in Preston. You will help create a safe, engaging environment where young children can learn through play and exploration, supporting their development during crucial early years.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain a safe, stimulating environment for children.
• Support children’s learning and development through play-based activities.
• Build positive relationships with families and communicate children’s progress.
• Work collaboratively with an experienced team to deliver high‑quality early years provision.

Required profile

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare.
• Recent experience in a nursery or early years setting.
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Caring, patient and enthusiastic approach.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare.
