Nursery Room Leader

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Early Years Educator to lead a nursery room in a peaceful rural setting near Blandford Forum. You will create a safe, engaging, and play‑based learning environment where children can thrive and develop their individual journeys.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality care and learning experiences aligned with the EYFS framework.
• Lead, mentor and support a team of Early Years Educators.
• Design and maintain stimulating indoor and outdoor learning spaces.
• Identify and implement improvements to practice and outcomes.
• Collaborate with other Room Leaders and management to ensure smooth nursery operations.

Required profile

• Level 3 Early Years qualification (or higher).
• Proven experience as an Early Years Educator, Nursery Practitioner or Nursery Nurse.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Positive, proactive approach to leadership and a genuine passion for children’s development.
