About the role
We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Room Leader to join our supportive team at Old Windsor Day Nursery & Pre‑School. In this full‑time position you will create a safe, engaging environment where children can learn, play and develop, while also supporting the professional growth of your colleagues.
Key responsibilities
- Lead a nurturing, high‑quality learning environment for children.
- Support, mentor and develop team members within the room.
- Build strong relationships with children, families and the wider nursery community.
- Maintain safeguarding standards, keep accurate records and ensure the room meets EYFS requirements.
Required profile
- Compassionate, reliable and dedicated to early years education.
- Level 3 childcare qualification.
- Confident written and spoken English.
- Desirable: experience in an Early Years setting and knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding best practices.
