Nursery Room Leader

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Early Years professional to lead a dedicated nursery room. As the Nursery Room Leader you will ensure the highest standards of care, learning and development are maintained while creating a safe and inspiring environment for children.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the day‑to‑day running of the allocated room, maintaining EYFS standards.
• Lead by example, supporting and mentoring colleagues to deliver outstanding care.
• Create a nurturing atmosphere where children feel happy, safe and motivated to reach their full potential.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or an equivalent recognised qualification.
• Experience working within an Early Years setting.
• Strong knowledge of child development and the EYFS framework.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational abilities.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare.
