Nursery Room Leader

About the role

Join Busy Bees as a Nursery Room Leader, overseeing multiple rooms and integrating educational strategies across the centre. This leadership position inspires the team to deliver the highest standards of care and learning for children.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of age‑appropriate activities and curriculum in your rooms.
• Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment for children.
• Foster a high‑performing team through supportive leadership and collaboration.
• Oversee children’s development and wellbeing, tracking progress and communicating with parents.
• Act as the Key Person for a group of children, ensuring holistic development and personal care.
• Maintain health and safety standards, keeping the environment clean and secure.

Required profile

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Experience in an early years setting, preferably with supervisory responsibilities such as Nursery Room Leader, Manager or Practitioner.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication abilities.
• Passion for fostering children’s development and building positive relationships with families.
