Nursery Teacher – Early Years Foundation Stage (Full‑time)

About the role

Our client is a highly regarded primary school in the borough of Richmond, rated Outstanding by OFSTED. They are seeking an experienced Nursery Teacher to join the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team from September 2026. The position is full‑time and initially offered on a fixed‑term basis for one year, with the prospect of becoming a permanent role.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging EYFS curriculum for children aged 3‑5.
• Create a bright, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and the wider teaching team to support children’s development.
• Communicate regularly with families and encourage their involvement in school life.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to the school’s high standards of assessment.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an overseas teaching qualification recognised by NARIC.
• Proven experience in primary or nursery education, preferably within EYFS.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a good sense of humour.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and statutory requirements.

• Clear communication with children, parents, and staff.
