Nursery Teacher – Full‑time Temporary Position

About the role

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Nursery Teacher to join a thriving mainstream primary school in Enfield (EN1). The role is full‑time on a temporary basis, with the possibility of extension or permanent employment based on performance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging nursery lessons.
• Assess and mark pupil work, providing constructive feedback.
• Organise and attend parents' evenings and communicate progress.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment and uphold safeguarding policies.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and contribute to whole‑school initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of nursery teaching experience in the UK.
• Current safeguarding training (issued within the last year).
• Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS with online update service.
• Two professional references covering the last two years.
