Nursery Teacher – Full‑time Temporary Role in Mitcham

About the role
Prospero Teaching is seeking a Nursery Teacher for a mainstream primary school in Mitcham (CR4). This full‑time, term‑time position runs from September 2026 to July 2027 on a temporary basis.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver daily nursery lessons.
- Mark work and provide feedback to pupils and parents.
- Attend and contribute to parents' evenings and staff meetings.
- Maintain a safe, nurturing classroom environment from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday‑Friday (term time only).
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Minimum one year of nursery teaching experience in the UK.
- Up‑to‑date safeguarding training (issued within the last year).
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS with online update service or willingness to obtain one.
- Two professional child‑related references covering the last two years.
