Nursery Teacher – Full‑time Temporary Role in West London

About the role

Prospero Teaching is seeking a Nursery Teacher for a private nursery in West London. The position is full‑time, temporary, running from 1 September 2026 until July 2027 (academic year). The school offers training to all staff and may consider extending the contract or offering a permanent role based on performance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age‑appropriate nursery curriculum for children.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing environment in line with safeguarding policies.
• Work the set hours of 8:00 am‑4:00 pm, Monday‑Friday, term time only.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support the overall development of the nursery.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of Key Stage 2 teaching experience in the UK.
• Up‑to‑date safeguarding training (issued within the last year).
• Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
• Two professional child‑related references covering the last two years.
