Nursery Teaching Assistant – 2‑Year‑Old Room, Lewisham (Sept Start)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Teaching Assistant to join the 2‑Year‑Old room of a friendly Lewisham nursery starting in September. This full‑time, short‑term position runs for at least one month and offers a supportive environment for an experienced Early Years practitioner.

Key responsibilities

• Support the care, learning and development of two‑year‑old children.
• Create a safe, stimulating and engaging classroom atmosphere.
• Assist with play‑based learning activities and daily routines.
• Collaborate with the Early Years team to deliver high‑quality provision.

Required profile

• Level 2 qualification in Childcare (minimum requirement).
• Previous experience within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Experience supporting children aged 2‑5 in a nursery or school setting.
• Caring, enthusiastic and patient approach with strong communication skills.
