About the role

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Nursery Teaching Assistant to join a popular mainstream primary school in Enfield (EN2). The role is full‑time, term‑time only, and offers the chance to develop your early years teaching practice within a supportive senior leadership team.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver daily nursery activities, supporting children’s learning and development.
• Prepare teaching resources and assist with classroom organisation.
• Participate in parents’ evenings and communicate progress effectively.
• Collaborate with the senior leadership team to uphold school policies and standards.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of Nursery/EYFS teaching experience in the UK.
• Up‑to‑date safeguarding training completed within the last year.
• Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS with online update service.
• Two professional child‑related references covering the last two years.
