Occupational Health Technician

About the role

Join a dynamic, peripatetic occupational health team delivering health surveillance services across the UK. You will travel in a mobile screening van to client sites, performing a range of clinical measurements and supporting the occupational health department.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct health surveillance screenings including audiometry, lung function testing, and drug/alcohol testing.
• Take baseline measurements such as height, weight, blood pressure and perform urinalysis.
• Support health promotion activities and other tasks as requested by the team.
• Provide non‑clinical assistance to ensure smooth operation of the occupational health department.

Required profile

• Sport Science degree or background as an Emergency Medical Technician, Combat Medic, or Ambulance Assistant.
• Willingness to stay away from home Monday‑Thursday and travel extensively throughout the UK.
• Full manual UK driving licence held for at least 12 months and ability to drive a van up to 3.5 tonnes.
• Over 21 years of age for insurance purposes.

Required skills

• Competent use of MS Office suite.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems.
• Basic knowledge of audiometry and lung function testing equipment.
