Occupational Therapist – Adults Social Care

About the role

Our client, Oxfordshire County Council, is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join the Adults Social Care team based in Didcot. You will work across South Oxfordshire, collaborating with social workers, hospitals and safeguarding teams to help adults maintain independence and achieve personal goals.

Key responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with Occupational Therapists, Social Workers and multidisciplinary teams in community, hospital and safeguarding settings.
• Empower service users to identify strengths, set goals and adopt new approaches for independence.
• Advocate for service users and carers, ensuring their voices are heard throughout the care pathway.
• Apply a strengths‑based, person‑centred approach to promote wellbeing and positive outcomes.
