About the role
This position is with Oxfordshire County Council’s Adult Social Care team, delivering person‑centred occupational therapy across South Oxfordshire. You will work in a supportive, innovative environment that blends community visits, remote work and collaborative office days.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with occupational therapists, social workers and multidisciplinary teams.
- Support adults in community, hospital and safeguarding settings.
- Conduct functional assessments and design personalised interventions.
- Apply a strengths‑based approach to promote independence and wellbeing.
- Develop creative, person‑centred solutions and advocate for service users and carers.
Required profile
- Innovative problem‑solver with a person‑centred mindset.
- Proactive, motivated and committed to positive outcomes.
- Empathetic, inclusive and respectful of diversity and dignity.
- Strong communicator who works well in multidisciplinary teams.
- Adheres to HCPC/RCOT professional standards and relevant legislation.
