Occupational Therapist – SEN Specialist (Wandsworth)

About the role
We are looking for a qualified Occupational Therapist to join our consultancy team on a temporary basis, delivering specialist support to children and young people with Special Educational Needs across primary, secondary and post‑16 settings in Wandsworth.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive OT assessments for students with autism, sensory needs, developmental delays, physical disabilities and learning difficulties.
- Develop evidence‑based intervention plans that enhance functional skills, sensory regulation and motor development.
- Produce clear written recommendations for EHCPs, annual reviews and school‑based support plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, families and multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated, student‑centred support.
- Deliver targeted interventions individually or in small groups across all education phases.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with safeguarding, GDPR and professional standards.
Required profile
- BSc or MSc in Occupational Therapy.
- HCPC registration (essential).
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working with children and young people with SEND.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
- Professional indemnity and public liability insurance.
